Life lessons are hidden in what we teach.

We will always learn from what we give out.

Teaching is a place of learning. It’s a school.

But a school where we learn many beautiful things about life. You dispense knowledge to others and the knowledge comes back to you as a life lesson.

Anyone who has been a teacher before has a unique story to tell. Our experiences in the classroom vary, but our different stories always meet at a common point — We’re tenacious beings.

However, tenacity alone doesn’t give the right results.

I’m saying this from experience.

In 2018, after completing my studies and getting my degree in Mathematics Education, I thought I was ready to feed brains with knowledge.

The eagerness to step into the classroom and perform wonders was over the roof. I wanted to be the best no one had ever been.

Luckily, I got a teaching job with one of the top high schools in my municipal, and the pay was good. I was ready to display expertise in the classroom the way LeBron James handles a basketball game.

But what were my experiences after my first few days in the classroom?
