The writing world is the same as every other field of human endeavor in modern times — it’s highly dynamic.

However, there are some enduring elements of writing that are essential for creating compelling and effective work.

Some of the eternal building blocks of writing include:

  • Clarity
  • Purpose
  • Audience awareness
  • Voice and style
  • Creativity
  • Grammar and mechanics
  • Emotional Resonance
  • Etc

It takes time to master each of these elements of writing. And one cannot be become a great writer if one doesn’t fully grasp them.

I want to improve upon my writing step-by-step. And I’ve set out to get better in the following areas of writing in next 3 months.

  1. Clarity

Writing is communication.

If you want to be understood, your message must be clear. All forms of ambiguity and confusion must be avoided.

But there’s more to clarity than it seems. Mastering the concept of clarity in writing involves a lot. One must know how to:

  • Use precise language
