How My Life Changed After My First Overseas Trip to Taiwan!
Olympic-Level Athletics from Taipei University Sports School:
When I visited Taiwan, I was blessed to visit the Sports School of Taipei University. Olympic athletics were born from this University. So, you can bet only the best of the best were able to pass.
There was a cycling training room, and I, being a cycling fanatic, had to try. After all, this is the main reason why I even wanted to visit this university!
My father trained me as a young child to never give up through bike rides. We will go miles on miles, and I would beg to stop for the day. But my dad would keep pushing me forward. I wondered why such dedication? Why such determination? Now, as an adult, I fully understand and truly love my father for pushing me back then.
Life is hard, we all know that, but school never teaches you that life is hard, and you just have to have sheer determination to function day to day. If it wasn’t for my dad pushing me back then, I would have ended up as someone who can barely function.
