Sometimes, you just lose yourself.

You wake up one day and realize you’ve drifted so far off course that you barely recognize the person staring back at you.

It can happen in your career, health, relationships, or all three at once.

I know it because I’ve been there. There was a time when I felt like my life was stuck in a loop. I was busy every day, yet nothing meaningful was moving forward.

It wasn’t that I didn’t care. It’s just that I didn’t know how to rebuild.

The good news is that rebuilding yourself doesn’t require a perfect plan or some big “aha” moment. It’s a process, and it can start today.

Here are three steps that helped me (and might help you too):

1. Write It Down

When you feel lost, the worst thing you can do is keep everything swirling in your head. Thoughts multiply, problems feel bigger, and solutions feel impossible.

Writing is how you slow down the chaos.

Ask yourself:

  • What am I doing wrong?
  • What can I do to change it?
