I Continue Writing on Medium, Why: Even Without High Readership Or Applauds
When we write with the sense of creating something on a canvas that is spread across the World and Knowing that it will be there for always and has the potential to be viewed by people around the world, then it’s a different level of motivation. 🙂✍
From the observations after having spent a considerable 4 months here, I’ve accepted a fact that Writing on the Medium platform doesn’t and may not yield even a reasonably expected viewership on most days. This adds up to the gap for people like me who keep on writing from a country where there is no sign of near future monetization opportunities and likewise for many others in any other country. 😔
Like many others, I think about why and how I keep on sharing my thoughts here on this huge platform, with all such surrounding facts! 😇
Then one thing that shines at the forefront amongst many reasons is the potential of reaching up to a vivid group of people from numerous countries, languages, groups, classes, and beliefs and getting their valuable words as inputs on whatever I have put out there.👍
This is by no means a normal thing as in the early days, to connect or to reach out to someone distant would be extremely painstaking and time-consuming. 🐢
