It’s tough to lose fat, let alone keep it off.

A simple calorie-deficit diet may manifest as excess fat, slow metabolism, and an inflamed intestine. Upon scanning the internet for the past 3 years, and trying all sorts of fad diets, I can conclude most of the ones that appear to work have more cons than pros.

All of these fat loss diets have a singular goal: A caloric deficit.

How To Lose Fat

You don’t need to be a calorie maniac to lose weight, all you need to be aware of are 2 metrics (calculators linked at the end):

  1. Daily Calorie Intake.
  2. TDEE: Total Daily Energy expenditure.

And for weight loss, you only need to satisfy one equation:

TDEE — Daily Calorie Intake > 0

And it’s much easier to meet your needs if you’re aware of how many calories you consume per meal.

Breakfast

A cup of water.
