I Lost €90K
But I’m okay.
Last week, I lost a €250K deal with a €90K profit because I told the truth when I could’ve stayed quiet.
My husband and I are starting a real estate business flipping properties. This was our first sale — a big one. And we were ready to move. Deposit lined up. Documents in order. Buyer excited.
But there was a mistake I noticed. Not mine, but it was there.
(For legal reasons, I can’t say more.)
And I had a choice: let it go and walk away €90,000 richer.
Or call it out and walk away with nothing.
I chose the second.
I didn’t do it because I wanted to be noble. I did it because I want to be proud of the way I build things.
And sometimes that costs you. Sometimes it costs a lot.
But I’ve realized something: I don’t want to build fast. I want to build right.
This applies to more than real estate.
Some of you have followed me through different experiments and offers.
Some have bought a product I made. Some haven’t.
And I’ll say this as clearly as I can:
Not everything I’ve built so far has lived up to my own expectations.
