I Tried Substack for a Year — Here’s My Honest Review
You need to have a strategy, and willing to promote your content since writing alone won’t pay the bills.
You know, I’ve been writing on Substack for over a year now.
And I’m not leaving Medium — I’m still getting insane views even today, and I’ll stick with Medium as long as it survives.
I tried Substack after hearing a lot about it, thinking it would help me build a great subscriber base and create another income stream.
But I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to focus on it completely, so I never mentioned joining Substack, promoted it on Medium, or anything like that.
I just wanted to test it first with multiple strategies to see if it could bring paid subscribers or if it was just a waste of time.
So, about a year ago, I started writing on Substack and experimented with different strategies to grow my subscriber base.
