I Would Actually Pay $30/Month for Friends of Medium
Badge, please..
This is what I feel like I ought to be saying every time I start looking at the kind of accounts that I might want to follow.
There are, of course, many great accounts and excellent stories told by those who are NOT members of Friends of Medium (FOM), but the people who do claim this title certainly stand out.
It feels like a great debate has erupted about the value of this program, and I can understand why on the surface.
The monthly cost of FOM is 3x the amount of a standard membership!
That can certainly be a factor that stops some folks in their tracks when it comes to thinking about potentially signing up for this venture.
That is particularly true of those who are just getting started out and might not necessarily feel like the added cost is something that they want to take on.
