So you’ve finally set some boundaries

You’re saying no more often or simply prioritizing your own needs. But now you notice that suddenly some people start acting like you’ve committed a crime. They call you selfish, cold, or worse.

But let me tell you something.

Loving yourself fearlessly is the furthest thing from being selfish — It’s survival. And don’t let anybody take that away from you.

Some of us have been conditioned to believe that self-sacrifice is some sort of virtue. We’re fooled into thinking that if we put everybody else first, then maybe we’ll be rewarded with love and approval.

Well, guess what?

That approval rarely comes. Trust me. I’ve been there too many times myself. And even if it does come, it doesn’t last. Meanwhile, you’re left drained, resentful, and questioning your worth.

Here’s the truth.

Prioritizing yourself isn’t about neglecting others. It’s about refusing to neglect yourself. There’s a difference. You can still show up for the people you care about…
