Keep an open mind, and accept everything in life as it is
Life is never under any obligation to provide what we desire or require. In my opinion, this is a very simple truth with far-reaching implications for how one responds to life’s challenges and tribulations.
People have been conditioned since childhood to aim high, think about the future, and consider the outcomes of their actions. The principles remain with us, demonstrating that with great efforts and ambitions, the story may be realized in a vision.
However, in reality, this is not so simple. Humans are sociable beings, and thus the politics of expectations is natural. We expect things to be predictable, people to behave in specific ways, and events to unfold as we anticipate them to.
However, reality has always been observed to deviate from this assumption to that level. A great game is feasible if you commit to following a set of rules for your life.
