Yes, it can be fun to touch someone with the written word but at the end of the day for most writers, it’s just a job.
But if you can master these few elements, it will take your writing to the next level and I can just about guarantee you’ll start putting money in the bank.
1. Generic but helpful points
Typically, when I give people writing advice, I try to make it as practical and as experience based as possible, as well as narrow down the scope of what I’m saying.
And generally, when you’re writing an advice article, I suggest that’s what you do.
However, if you look at the article that really takes off then you will notice that their advice is a little generic.
There’s a fine line you need to walk where you don’t give everything away and you give just enough hints to keep it interesting but you don’t bore the reader so that they jump ship early in the article.
