It was Sunday, the first Sunday of this summer, that I got to spend time with my family.
I was eagerly waiting for my cousin to visit us with her children, who had already shared her plan with us in advance.
Last time when I held our next generations, they were just 6 months old and now they’ve grown up to be in class 6th! How quickly time flies! I met a new addition to our next generation.
I cooked homemade Tikki Chaat, a very famous and delicious appetizer or snack for them which they enjoyed thoroughly.
Then we headed to a family restaurant to have a delicious lunch meal concluding it with a cone of icecream as dessert. What could be a better choice for dessert during scorching heat of the summer?
Highlight of my day was visiting to my Mausi’s(maternal aunt)home in Cuttack after a really long time.
The last time, I visited her was when I was in my 10th standard, and now she’s no longer alive, passed away more than a decade ago.
She was young, full of life and positivity. I remember how fondly she cooked for us when we visited her…
