I Designed Something: My Last 90 Days Writing on Medium (As A Graphic)

There had to be a more creative way…
Over these past 90 days of writing consistently on Medium, I’ve published several stories sharing my progress, specifically, by sharing screenshots of my stats.
Now, we all know that including an image alongside your words is an incredibly effective way of enhancing your storytelling.
But taking a screenshot of my stats is getting pretty boring.
So, over the past few days, I’ve been creating some designs to share numbers with you in a more captivating way.
My last 90 days in numbers
I’m not a graphic designer, but I like to think that I’ve gotten some good practice building more dashboards than I can remember throughout my years as a Data Scientist.
In other words, don’t judge too hard, please.
As you can see, over the past 90 days…
- I’ve written way over 34,000 words.
- I have published 73 stories.
- My stories have gotten over 21K views and over 15K reads.
- And I have been able to get 700 new followers.
In terms of views, February was my best month with a little over 11K views on my stories, and despite the challenging changes Medium underwent early this month, I was still able to keep up.
But, the accomplishment I’m most proud of is writing over 34K words. I haven’t written that many words in over 6 years (since I was in University),
My designs
I didn’t spend days making just one design. I was able to create 4 different designs in two different styles
