Imagine walking into your home after a long week at work.

Most of us know what this experience is like based on firsthand experience. We have held a traditional job of some kind at some point in our lives.

Putting in 40 (or more!) hours per week can be draining on the mind, body, and soul.

No surprises there.

Why then is the job of writing content for an audience thought of so differently?

In my view, this is one of pitfalls of jumping into the practice of freelance writing too quickly.

It all seems so glamorous, but let’s take a pause and talk about one of the things that you need to think about before you get in too deep.
