Someone Was Disqualified for Being 5 Minutes Late for an Interview

I saw one post today on LinkedIn where a recruiter shared a screenshot showing his response when a candidate was late for the interview:

You can guess the comments on this post. And I’m 100% behind those comments. I am happy that I never have to work with someone like Yash and wonder if Mr. Perfect and Mr. Just In Time have never been late for anything.

I have been through tens of interviews during my professional career, and I’ve never seen a recruiter with such a position. I always try my best to get in early in any meeting, preferably 5 minutes before it starts.

Surprise, life happens. Sometimes, we get caught doing something that makes us lose track of time. It happens to me all the time.
