For a long time, I kind of forgot why I started writing online. When results were not showing up, I was seduced by other people writing on topics that were working for them.
This is what happens when you don’t have a clear WHY. Your WHY is your belief, and if it’s not strong enough, it can be shaken by the slightest sign of difficulties or hard times.
You start chasing WHATs.

My most famous detour from my beliefs was when I saw writers on Medium writing about how much a writing made them or how much they made in a given month. I thought that since I was making some myself, I should hop on board and share mine as well.
Deep down, I felt uncomfortable with that. It was the same thing I was feeling when I was creating content on Instagram, showing my desktop — I was an impostor trying to get hits of dopamine.
I was going against all my values and beliefs.
