In the uncertain realm of cryptocurrencies and decentralized apps (dApps), it is essential to be clear and trusting. Last week, news about Tapswap made many people wonder about its sudden rise to fame given that the dApp was mainly known for its pay-per-tap feature.

The Tapswap developers have recently requested users, termed tappers, to donate 0.5 TON (Telegram Open Network) tokens to enhance their mining capacities. This decision has however elicited skepticism and worry in the crypto community.

I’m not saying $Tapswap won’t cook

But this simple explanation from $NOT tells you all you need to know about Tapswap.

To me, developers of Tapswap asking tappers to boost mining with 0.5 TON is dubious.

Imagine if they’re able to onboard 32 million users as NOTCOIN did. And 50% of users boost their mining with 0.5 TON That’s over 8 million TON Which is approximately USD 48,000,000 million.

Are they indirectly onboarding users to make it pay for presale dubiously No presale in TON and Solana has raised over $40 million.

This raises a special alarm about Tapswap developers I don’t want to conclude not to discourage people who are mining Tapswap However, this write-up from $NOTCOIN speaks of possible reality. I’m not judging, just trying to make sense of NOT X tweet.

Finally, The need for any technology to grow, calls for innovation and development which can only happen with integrity and transparency. It is rightful that Tapswap’s request for 0.5 TON supplementary funding has attracted queries because, in the cryptocurrency domain, one has to be very keen.

Users must always be careful, demand transparency, and protect their assets from exploitation. Trust that keeps any platform going must ultimately be earned, not just demanded. In the fast-moving world of cryptocurrency, always remember to be alert, remain updated, and take your safety first.
