Tapswap Lunch Count: Many will be Disappointed If Lunches on this Blockchain.

Yesterday, the #TapSwap team disclosed on X(Twitter) that the project’s scheduled TGE launch on Solona has been deferred. Instead, the token generator event is happening off-chain until further notice.

According to Tapswap Official X (Twitter) handle, read the news:

“Breaking News

Dear TapSwappers,

After experiencing your unprecedented backing and excitement exceeding what we could have imagined, we are happy to declare the astonishing growth in our community to reach 28 million members! This has resulted in some radical changes being made in this venture because we could not help but walk the talk.

These changes are all positive and necessary to accommodate our massive community. One of the major updates is that we will launch our token on a different blockchain instead of Solana.

We will announce the name of the new blockchain shortly, and we promise it will be huge!🚀 Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

#tapswap”

We have seen millions of people join the TapSwap frenzy in a bid to make money off the protocol after seeing how #Notcoin hit $1bn market valuation on day one of the launch, rewarding gamers with life-changing money!

This has led to the growing interest in TapSwap, but many will be disappointed if TapSwap launches on #Ethereum.

The current market capitalization of Ethereum (ETH) is above $460 billion. Ethereum offers developers an option by which they can now create their coins using its capacity to contain smart contracts, which is quite useful because it isn’t mandatory to make brand new chains or create any mechanisms allowing everyone in charge to reach an agreement.

However, Ethereum is also known for its high transaction fees due to scaling issues.

Should TapSwap consider launching on Ethereum, many TapSwappers will be discouraged to claim their mined tokens after seeing the huge onchain fees to be paid before claiming their TAPS.

They might quickly label TapSwap a scam wanting to take money from them, unaware that these fees go to Ethereum validators.

The End.
