The 1 Change That’ll Make Your Writing 10x Effective Even If You Have No Experience

In the past few days, I have had trouble getting my creative mind to work. I lacked the ideas and inspiration to write something good. I even forced myself to write a compelling story, but it didn’t work.

Then, I remembered how fluently I could write four or five stories a week in the past. How did I do that? What did I do differently then?

As I sat there, thinking about my past, I quickly understood the one missing piece that helped me find so many fascinating ideas in the past. The exact point I’d been lacking kept me from writing more fluently.

It was an experience.

One of the best pieces of writing advice I have received is from Ryan Holiday. He said that instead of focusing too much on writing, you must engage in exciting activities. After reading Ryan’s article, I have tried to engage in activities I like. And that has helped me a lot in the past.

When you have experience, it becomes easier to write about it. For example, if you run every morning, you can write about the benefits, experiences, failures, doubts, motivation, etc. You can create many interesting stories for people interested in running or caring for their health.
