The Day I Finally Chopped It Off

Those of you who read my last blog already know…I had been planning to get a haircut for days. Saturday seemed like the perfect day, but unfortunately, the salon was closed.

I felt a little disappointed, but I decided to give it another shot on Monday.

That morning, I called the salon first thing to check if they were open. Thankfully, they confirmed they would stay open for the next hour.

Without wasting any time, I quickly washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner. I combed it a little, grabbed my bag, and left home.
It was barely a five minute walk and soon enough, I reached.

I had long hair at the back that curled up softly. It looked pretty, and a part of me did not want to let it go. But the constant hair fall had become too much to handle….so it felt like the right time for a change.

At the salon, I showed the hairdresser a picture of the haircut I wanted. She nodded with a smile and wrapped a covering sheet around me.
