The One Thing Every Writer Needs, Or You’ll Quit Like I Did
Chances are you’re focusing on the wrong things
They say you’re only a loser if you give up.
I say winners are those who know when to give up.
Sometimes we come face-to-face with reality. We either allow it to shape us or run from it for the rest of our lives.
After writing on the Internet for over five years, I stopped deceiving myself and my readers. I realized that, with lots of words on lots of pages, I still lacked one thing:
A clear reason for being here.
Surface level stuff never lasts
We all know people who do things because everyone else is doing them. They’re family, friends, and all those in between.
The problem is we never think it’s us who operate with such emptiness. We spare ourselves the pain of revealing what’s actually going on.
Every day revolves around the same complaints, dislikes, and annoyances. We do a lot but never go anywhere. Nothing seems to move the needle.
I know this because I was this person.
Some of you have no idea who I am. To you, I’m another writer on the Internet, begging for attention.
