The clock is ticking and the narcissist is nearing the end of their life. They still lie, cheat, con, and manipulate their way around their very short list of people whose time they can waste.

But to everyone who is still around at this point, it is just that: a waste of time.

There comes a point in a narcissist’s life when they successfully abandon and discard all of the high-value people that used to come around.

The loss of every prized possession does not go unnoticed by the enablers who will be watching from the sidelines.

A narcissist never sees a person’s intrinsic value, but the enablers sometimes can.

And you can bet your bottom dollar, that they are secretly cursing under their breath as all of the quality people who once graced the narcissist’s life walk away and fade into obscurity.

The enablers go quiet then because without credible people around a narcissist, the narcissist doesn’t look at all credible.

The ego alone isn’t enough to sell the package because it has to be believable.
