Following a good unwinding evening routine is important to set me up the next day.

My typical day can be long and stressful.

So, unwinding in a relaxed and fun way is important to me.

It helps me keep sane and keep my balance.

Generally, about 3 hours before I go to bed, I do this:

I journal and reflect on my day. Journaling helps me access my day better. Reflecting on my day while making notes, helps me tackle my future tasks. I spend about 20 to 30 minutes on this.

Once that is done, it is time for some singing and dancing!

Yes! You read correctly!

I play only feel-good music. I sing and dance to it.

Even if I am tired, I do this every night without fail.

Last night I put on some YouTube music videos and just sang and danced along.

I sang along to, “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey.

If Steve Perry heard me belt it out last night, he would have been so proud of me. Haha.
