We’re Not Broke, We’re Trapped: The Money Lie We All Believed
How ignorance, fear, and school systems keep us financially stuck — and the way to escape
There are two human categories.
Some use money, others are used by money (to the advantage of the former group). Those are rich and poor people.
The counterintuitive truth is that money is not the pivotal aspect of the story. There are poor people with money who will soon lose it, and rich people who don’t yet have money.
Quoting from Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter:
There is a difference between being Poor and being Broke, Broke is temporary, Poor is Eternal.
Wealth and poverty are a matter of mindset and behavior.
Active and passive stuff
Things are much simpler than ordinary people think. The concept of induced complexity, which I wrote about some time ago, helps to understand how most people escape the difference between active and passive.
