What Happens on Medium After Stop Writing
My Views, Reads, and Earnings Stats after I stopped writing on Medium
Due to personal reasons, I haven’t been able to write or publish any articles on Medium over the past three months, since February 2025. However, during this time, I’ve remained active on the platform by reading articles and engaging with other writers. As a result, my earnings didn’t drop to zero, though they were noticeably affected.
Previously, I shared an article detailing my views, reads, and earnings up to the end of 2024. Also, Earnings/Views and Earnings/reads ratios were shared:
Now, I’ll be updating those numbers in this article to reflect how things have changed during the first few months of 2025.
Views, reads and earnings
There was a noticeable drop in views, reads, and earnings since the last article I wrote, as shown in the following graphs. However, since that initial decline, the metrics have remained steady and consistent due to my activity on the platform.
