What is a true friendship?
A true friend is with us for life.
True friends are rare in our life.
My best friend, Francis, has been part of my life forever. My mother and his mother were childhood friends and we were raised together, like brothers.
Francis and I were so different that we shouldn’t even have been able to be friends.
I’ve always been one of those who liked reading, studying, learning new things and I never really liked sport. Francis was precisely the opposite. He always hated school, hated reading, and loved sports. However, we were inseparable. Whenever one of the two decided something, the other agreed.
Of course, we also got into fights, when we disagreed, we often ended up resolving the problem with our fists. But 30 minutes later we were friends again.
Everyone thought we were family, and they were right, but even not having the same blood, Francis was my brother. Anything he could do that I didn’t like, I forgave and I also know he would forgive me. I don’t think friendships like this are made anymore.
