What Would You Do if You Had to Go on the Run?

This might sound crazy, but in my excitement to enter one of the latest Vocal Media challenges, I think I may have created a really helpful guide for anyone who needs to go on the run.

I did it in fun, but I think I may have something here.

The challenge asks you to write a 50–500 word poem, containing instructions on how to “vanish”.

According to the rules, you can apply the word vanish in whatever context you want. Personally, I chose to take the word literally.

Just like I mentioned in a related Substack Note that I posted:

The reason this [challenge]was interesting to me, is because every single time I see a movie or show where someone is supposed to be on the run, or in hiding, they do the most stupid stuff. But clever me, always has a better way they could have stayed discreet and in hiding.

That comment describes why I made the impulsive decision to stop what I was in the middle of, and make up a poem about how I’d vanish if I needed to disappear for real.
