It is certainly implicit that the topic of discussion is not Python — a snake mostly found in Australia and Africa.
Rather, a programming language named as Python.
My Journey with Python
In 2019, when I commenced my engineering degree, In the very first semester we studied Python.
At that point in time, I had no clue that this language will evolve in such a beast by which we can make fortune.
Today as of 2024, Python Programming language can be utilized for acquiring numerous skills.
Tips for Python Newbies
The hottest skills in which python language is used nowadays are: Generative-AI, Data Analysis.
From my experience, some tips that can help a newbie in this regard are as follows:
1.) Skip the Overload of Courses
Don’t put a lot of effort to take courses of Python as it is an easy-to-learn language. Just focus on the skill you want to learn and follow some hands-on tutorials from either YouTube of Coursera.
2.) Build Your Portfolio Early
Focus on building your portfolio in that skill from the very beginning by following tutorials which can help you to gain a lot of know-how of the skill — this is somewhat called reverse engineering technique which implies:
“To start from the product composition rather than raw materials”.
3.) Create a GitHub Account
Make a GitHub account. Once, you have completed a project, then learn how to push that code to GitHub. This will be your portfolio but remember to add some creativity to that project you followed from YouTube rather than copy pasting.

For Data Analysis Enthusiasts
If you have chosen Data Analysis, then make an account on Kaggle and commence with analysis of some simple and real-time datasets on Kaggle.
For Generative AI Aspirants
For Gen-AI, Google Colab is best to start coding as it provides us with necessary GPU resources which can be a constraint if we write our code on VS code downloaded on a computer with no adequate GPU resources.
Getting Started
The only requirement is to have a laptop or desktop computer, and any individual can learn these skills by downloading Python language in either VS code or Anaconda IDE — both of which are used to write python code in them to practice.
