Write your first 100 articles, and then stop to watch what happens next.

Sometimes stopping and watching is all we need.

Consistent writing is not enough; consistent checking and making sure you are on the right track helps a lot.

When you write your 100 articles, Medium will push your stories to more readers, and if not, you are doing something wrong.

It is either your way of writing your niche selection or maybe if you didn’t make a niche selection, the routine you are following or the target audience.

It is not about writing 100 articles; it could be 60, 70, 80.

The concept is that the more you write, the more you find what works for you.

The number is not what matters; your writing is.

When you write more, try to read the old articles, and if you don’t cringe, you are either a string writer from the beginning, which most of us aren’t, or you have to improve as a writer.

Make sure to follow what worked for you and learn to stop when something is not working for you.

As the elders say:

When you know you are taking the wrong train, make sure to get out at the next station because the longer you stay, the more expensive the return trip will be.

Thanks for reading!
