All of us seek validation from others. Typically, that validation comes from other humans, but we also rely on our pets to some extent; who doesn’t value the unquestioning love of a dog, or the flash of satisfaction you get from a cat that deigns to reward you with their attention?

But have you ever sought validation from an Artificial Intelligence entity? Okay, sure. Maybe Alexa or Siri has told you that yes, you are quite lovely. Or a good singer maybe. But only when specifically prompted.

Have you ever asked AI to provide a list of the best qualities or actions to take on a subject that you think you are pretty good at? Or at least would like to be? Kind of an interesting self-check.

I did that on a whim. I was having ChatGPT generate lists such as the top five non-fiction books, or top five television shows. Kind of fun. But then I decided to list out the top five ways to generate passive income.

I actually expected a blog post like list of side hustles, but in actuality only number 4 and 5 were in that category. The other three were investment strategies. Surprisingly, content generation…
