Grateful ~

To wake up in the morning
and stretched
A cup of tea and the newspaper
A walk, anywhere outside
Trees, and Big Skys
Any and every moment with my daughter
All the other moments spent with a pen to paper
Friends who laugh with me
Guides who share their wisdom with me
Sisters who listen when I need to vent (Thank you!)
The wonder of seeing the world through someone else's window
The dreams such windows inspire
A good meal — a great meal — and I don’t have to do the dishes
To see the stars above me “almost” every night
A good night's sleep
