Part One of a five-part series sharing my experience in The Garden of Neuro, September 24 to October 28, 2021.

First, What is the Garden of Neuro and why would I want to go there?

The Garden of Neuro is a space, both virtual and real where women gather to grow, whatever it is they are seeking to grow, personally and professionally. It’s been in development for a while, this Capstone Project of Founder Susan Brearley.

Online the space is growing just like a garden. Seeds are sprouting, we’re watching spurts happen, some big, some small. With all the loving care these seeds are receiving, soon there will be a great abundance of women making changes in their lives, their communities, and the world.

The physical space is also growing. This is Susan’s home, and for some years she’s been able to use her home to earn part of her living by hosting others and renting space.

Her goal is to make this a place where women can come be during whatever transitional phase of life they might be going through and find some kind of footing before setting off into what’s next.

Which is one of the reasons I went there. To talk about what those in-between things we need…
