Medium Facebook groups are communities for new and experienced writers to network and make connections with one another. Medium writers share links to their work, provide feedback, and host Q&As. You engage, support, and share links to your stuff.

These groups are free-to-join by every writer. Poetry, fiction, personal stories, etc are all accepted. Though concerns over Facebook’s data privacy policies have surfaced in the past, comments, likes, and posts can only be seen by private group members.

Most of these groups are private. That means you have to be accepted via application forms. They require your Medium profile link, agreement to terms, and some additional information.

Benefits

These groups are extremely helpful especially for Medium beginners like me. They foster a supportive community and help get my initial numbers up. They also help revive dying articles. Writers will promote their old pieces to increase their views and get recommended more throughout the platform.
