An ode to “her”.

You changed me -

I want you dearly
Like the rain wants the sun
Like a boat finds its cove
I want to sit between
Your heart and your soul
I want you, I love you evergreen.

You fill the empty space between the lines
I don’t look for answers anymore,
I find them in your eyes
When I’m seeking comfort
Your lips are all I crave
That divine wisdom
Gets me more than I can
For you and us alone
I will be a better man.
