Zero —
above
thyself, finding
absolution, falling tears;
something fading, like the rain;
— asphalt in the middle of a summer heatwave —
afterwards floating, like rust leaves;
life, memory failing;
finding thyself
below
— Zero…

Author’s Note: This Fibonacci form, shared by Tree Langdon for Write Under the Moon’s Challenge #6, was so fun I decided to give it another go. The form and shape, with its organic cycle, makes it quite the fit for ponderings on nature and life, and all their mysteries.

You can find my first attempt at the form here…

I’d also like to take a moment here to thank Write Under the Moon for admission as one of their writers. I’ve enjoyed contributing to your community, thus far, and look forward to some great reading and sharing in the future.
