Months of sweltering heat finally give way.
The oven light prepares to be turned off.
Respect for the unique magic each season offers.

Gentle autumn sun-soaked days warm the soul.
But chills of early morning and late night a harsh reminder,
of all that passed with the seasons of old.

While clocks here never change,
there’s still a certain slowing down to be felt.
Yielding to the rhythm of life,
yet clinging intensely to the light that is yours.

Work of the enigmatic artist finally revealed.
Some leaves show up in yellow shades,
others heavily immersed in crimson,
and some ready to shed.

Miles apart the South from the North,
yet the delight resonates,
as you seek the blossoms of Spring,
having made your way through the cold.

Somewhere in the Universe we converge,
enveloped by what the given season holds.
For now I soak up the beauty of Autumn.
Fall of colours splendidly blending in.
