A black rose melting and dripping through golden fingers.

Blackened
from the flames
within,
the rose shrivels
in shame.

A simple touch
of the petals
turns the flower
to dust.

The blackened heart
bleeds,
dripping tears
to feed the fallen seeds.

The dark rose
blooms once again,
a sense of life
coursing through
its veins.

The golden touch
forming life
anew,
once again feeding
nature
with its honey-colored dew.
