I dreamed both deep and shallow
a surreal, meditative dream
a voyage into the depths within
where I have never gone before

I was enchanted by Morpheus and Hypnos
and was lucid at the same time
a brand new trick for me
it appears I have further evolved

Looks like I have developed
a fourth meditation technique
via which I regained lucid dreaming
after decades having lost that gift

It started in Salamis Isle, at my pop’s
but I completed it at my maternal home
which unlike Salamis is not quiet at all
I thought that was impossible

I no longer believe in the impossible
that dark journey within was so soothing
I saw black holes surrounded by radiant spirals
of every imaginable color and pattern

I entered the dimension of fractal geometry
feeling fully at peace, in awe of Beauty
with a mere thought or feeling I made everything
vanish or materialise again

I was in control, but only when one with the flow
pressuring anything only pushed back or vanished
but this felt perfectly natural, even obvious
having an empty mind but a full heart
made everything bloom into infinite colors and shapes

But above all I enjoyed the Abyss itself
I wanted to reach its bottom, and I think I did
or I imagined its bottom into being
a year ago I’d have been scared stone cold

But that complete silence and darkness
was a sublime feeling to behold
these verses are a poor substitute
imagine being at the bottom of the Pacific

Yet feeling no water pressure or lack of air
it was me, myself and I, fully serene
and whenever I wanted I could materialize
either Heaven or Hell, or fairies and unicorns to play with

Unlike my previous dream inspired verses
I now remember my dreams fully
no dream diary required either

But since I love challenging myself
I will try astral projection next
in the past, when I did,
I could not leave my home or residence

This time I know I can
if I can imagine it I can do it
both this and my singular solid goal
which is to sail the Mediterranean Sea
with my own ship

Soon…
