Destination
“Days stretched before her like an endless void of darkness. She yelled in confusion into the ominous abyss, only to be echoed by herself. She felt lost and alone, unable to escape her own solitude.”
Tossing and turning, trying to find a comfortable spot on a very hard mattress. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Nobody told her that being a medical student would be such a tough and grueling study. All she thought as a child was that she would hold a stethoscope and diagnose people with coughs and tummy aches. Boy was she wrong! All she wanted to do now was become a dog walker but… NO! She would become a doctor. Shaking all negativity aside, she fell asleep dreamlessly.
Waking up never felt better… maybe today is better! She jumped and skipped as she attended her lectures. Humming gaily she arrived back at her dorm… today had finally been a fruitful day. She fell asleep, unaware of the ‘thunderstorm’ about to hit her!
The alarm beeped and buzzed as she groggily got out of bed… she yanked her blanket off realising how late she was for her lectures! She scuttled around her dorm frantically getting ready but alas her last lecture had already wrapped up as she entered through her university gates… refusing to be put off she caught up with her friends and took the assignment from them. In her dorm, all hell broke loose as she suddenly realised that she had missed a very critical class that was worth 50% of her grade! She completed her assignment nonetheless and fell asleep only to be enveloped in a nightmare cold embrace.

Finals were approaching and whether to take the exam or not felt like a life-and-death decision to her… suddenly, hope rose in her. Looking at herself in the mirror she realised how much potential she had! Not giving up she fought with the DEMONS in her head and… WON!
She finally reached her DESTINATION!
