Calling all moon writers! Step right up and share your eclipse experience in poem format!

You can choose any poetry style you like to tell your story. Stories can be about your experience watching the eclipse today (or not watching it) or memories surrounding other eclipses you’ve seen during your life.

Poems can be fun, serious, strange, romantic, otherworldly Twilight Zone-ish (thanks Nancy Santos for Twilight Zone inspirations), or whatever you want. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and get creative. Make sure to use the tag WUTMeclipse so I can collect all entries and display them in one space. The two entries with the most claps and comments by the end of this week will be pinned to the top of our front page for the entire month of April.

Don’t forget all of your fabulous eclipse stories are eligible for a boost nomination. We can’t wait to read your entries!

Have a great day everyone, and keep your peepers safe.

With love from your Moon editing team:
