Take the time to find the center of your soul,
take heed when you feel things are out of control.
An open heart gives life when choices console

When the divers dip beneath the darkened waves
time drips through their fingers like rain falls through space
the mosses below are the waiting embrace

Take each step as a movement with intention,
the ceremony focuses attention,
on the spirit journey as the ascension.

This poem was written in response to the #10 Stornello poetry challenge at Write Under the Moon (soon to be announced in our challenges section)

Stornello: Each line has 11 syllables and
all three lines in the stanza rhyme.
One is a slant rhyme
