The Mad Catters are
at it once again,
driving the house
completely insane
because everyone is cooped up
due to the torrential rain.

The Lunatic tried
to reign them in,
instead of reading poetry
he began to pluck
his mandolin.

The felines meowed,
they disliked his song,
it felt like torture
and went on for too long.

Racing around
from here to there,
The Catters destroyed everything
in sight without a care.

Meanwhile, down in the basement
Rabbit Man hid,
he may have slipped the cats
some catnip, creating this
unfortunate skid.

The wrath of The Lunatic
was not something Rabbit Man wanted,
these cats were driving everyone mad
and tonight’s dreams would be haunted.
