Moonflowers

It flows within me

With every step I take,

With every word I write,

And every mark you make.

It’s ever-lasting

And though people might reject -

Or stare and judge whilst laughing -

You would never even suspect.

It flows within me -

These colours burn my veins

And sing the tunes of moonlight

Until the day unveils.

It’s ever-lasting

And you might now suspect,

But people still are laughing

So… you will just reject.

It flows within us,

And you might not know yet,

But moons will shimmer

And stars will not forget.

Thy heart will clench

And colours burnt thy veins,

The tunes of moonlight

Shall see to the feelings

That will fall upon

As your heart unveils.

You might reject it,

But for your heart is all too late -

Moonflowers blooming,

For all we know:

It’s Fate.

My scribbles dive into a variety of topics. The thread of thought can be unpredictable — inspired by places, people, experiences or the occasional earworm on the playlist…

I often weave my cloth of writing unsure where the threads will lead — or if the final tapestry will hold.

Yet whether I scribble fantasy or horror, highly opinionated or research-driven pieces, I hope it leaves you with something to ponder: makes you feel better (or worse?..), strikes an inner monologue (hopefully, voiced out in the comments!) or simply gives you something to chew on, inspiring to keep the creative ball rolling.

Thank you for reading!
