Purple Haze

Poetry

An acidic rain
fell upon the earth,
staining everything
with a purple curse.

The color was a drastic change,
drawn from the rainbow
from which it came.

As high as the tops of mountains,
and as low as the deep dark sea
one pastel color
for all the world…
