Subject 2780AI Falls in Love
Even a Humanoid has feelings
He always knew that he was different. He did not need to eat, to sleep, to rest, to exercise. Fred was always awake every night doing what he loved best, which was reading and writing. The only time he would shut his eyes was when he had to go for his “health check”, to a large research facility at the center of the forest.
Fred was always bursting with information. This is why he enjoyed his job at the large institute of artificial intelligence. He did not have any family, only faint memories of his mother, father, and sister who disappeared years ago on a trip to Africa, when he was a teenager.
Doctor Ralph Woodson, watched as his subject 2780AI walked into his research facility. This subject showed a lot of promise and the board had great plans for him. He had created Fred as a teenager and supplied his robot brain with memories about his past. The young android had no idea that he was just a machine.
However, what disturbed Doctor Woodson, was that Fred was showing an interest in a young professor at the facility, Sheila Willcombe. It was not unusual for an android to display these emotions. However, he was made for greater things, like becoming the next President of the new world, created, developed, and ruled entirely by artificial intelligence.
