Summer Skies

a poem

Fibonacci Numbers. June poem. Write Under the Moon.

Petals
Open.
Flaring full.
Sun, moon, stars.
Alight they glow in newness.
Morning, evening, summer sighs. Low and warm again.
Its breath. Comfort’s close kiss.
Now time stands.
Stillness holds.
Hands.
Open.

This poem is based on the Fibonacci sequence in nature. Patterns of creation. The idea of this poem is meant to evoke the essence of the last light of a warm summer’s day. Hope, wholeness, and earthy beauty. Could you feel it?

Or maybe it evoked something different for you… that’s okay too. What was it like for you? :)

Thank you to Tree Langdon for the inspiration for this month’s poetry challenge.
