“Good morning, Mr. Foster! How are you feeling today?” Samuel said cheerily as he entered the room.
Bloody Hell… It’s way too early for this crap. “Good morning, Samuel. Please, call me Jim. There’s no need to be so formal.” I say as politely as I can for someone just woken out of a deep slumber.
Samuel carries a tray over to me, “Of course, Jim. I apologize for continuing to not use your first name. We have a delicious breakfast for you today. There’s some eggs, toast, and bacon. Would you like coffee, tea, or orange juice?”
I dig into the food as soon as the tray hits my lap. “Orange juice would be great. Thank you, Samuel.”
He pours a glass of juice for me, “Excellent choice, Jim. Here you are. I’ll be back in a half an hour to get you ready. Dr. Marx has signed off on starting exercises, so we will be going to the gym today.”
I look up from my food, “We are going to what? Yesterday I couldn’t stand, but today he thinks I’m ready? What kind of wacky nonsense is that?”
“I understand your concerns after falling out of bed yesterday. I will transport you to the gym in a wheelchair. We are going to start having you…
