The Lunatic Games
A friendly game of Ping Pong
Friends and foes gathered
to cheer and jeer
their friends,
The Lunatic Poet
and Rabbit Man
who they sometimes fear.
Both competitors were
knocked out
of the Olympic Games,
so they decided to have
a friendly game of ping pong
judged by their good friend
Henry James.
They set up the table
along the River Thames,
and began this ordeal
by calling each other names.
The crowd went wild
when the Lunatic got
the first point,
Rabbit Man took a quick break
and lit up a joint.
After several hours
the game was still tied,
The Lunatic Poet
was sweating bullets
and Rabbit Man was still fried.
Sam the Dragon coughed
spewing fire and melting the ball,
which got plastered up against
the cement wall.
