The Lunatic is Back

Vacation is over and it’s time to get to work

Forgive me,
for I have been away
for some time,
they tried to put me away
for some unthinkable crime.

But rest assured
The Lunatic is here
and I’m talking smack,
after taking a long vacation
to try and get my groove back.

People thought
I was down and out,
but I’m here to stay,
and if you don’t like it
please just get out of my way.

As always,
I’m joined by my buddy
known as Rabbit Man,
always running from the authorities
after getting caught
in another scam.

He got me from the airport
standing next to the car
cigarette between his lips,
I wish for once he wasn’t smoking
and instead would just have a bag of chips.
